SEOInfo version 0.7.0 released

 

 

Hello,

We're pleased to announce the release of SEOInfo 0.7.0. This is a new feature release with several smaller changes and bug fixes included:

Here are the highlights:

  • Set list of sites where SEOInfo should or should not run. Can use wildcards to restrict running to one or many sites with just one option line. Comes with default list of sites to avoid.
  • Now showing current page language, if any found
  • Bumped limit on number of Hrelang links to check dynamically from 30 to 100
  • Invalid HrefLang message may sometimes not be displayed on extension icon (error counter is)
  • Incorrect initialization on Chrome
  • Protocol-relative links break links validation

SEOInfo version 0.6.0 released

 

 

Hello,

We're pleased to announce the release of SEOInfo 0.6.0. This is a new feature release with a couple of smaller changes and bug fixes included:

Here are the highlights:

  • All links on a page can be validated upon request by user
  • HRefLang tags are validated against specification, including loading targets to check for reciprocal links. Includes robots.txt check, language, country code and script variation checks on all pages in hreflang set
  • Canonical links blocked by robots.txt are now reported: as errors in icon error counter and in main popup
  • On AMP pages, now displaying whether page is in Google AMP cache. If so, show button to display it. It no, show button to add current page to the Google AMP cache.
  • Can make a screenshot of the current page. Screenshot can also be included when saving page report.

SEOInfo version 0.5.1 released

Hello,

We're pleased to announce the release of SEOInfo 0.5.1. This is a new feature release with a single bug fix added:

Here are the highlights:

  • Recording and displaying server-side redirects used to access current page, if any
  • Now displaying all response headers from server for current page
  • Now displaying server IP address and HTTP protocol used (http2 vs http1)
  • Added a warning when a page is loaded by a service worker which prevents SEOInfo to get the HTTP status
  • Structured data referring to https://schema.org instead of http://schema.org are not detected
